21ST CENTURY TALES is an ambitious community project exploring the last twenty years of local history through everyday objects and new writing.
Powerhouse took up residency at a retail unit in the heart of Hereford’s Maylord Shopping Centre, creating a pop-up writers studio, and creative development space to showcase unheard stories in the region.
The project explords how new generations redefine heritage and what it means to them in the 21st century.
Disrupted by unprecedented events of 2020, the project transformed into an online and digital skills development program and lead to the creation of a brand-new collection of short digital films.
