Alex Evans was a popular and much loved member of the Herefordshire community. He was passionate about theatre, and believed strongly that art and culture has an important role to play in Herefordshire.

Alex performed in theatre productions for over two decades, as well as acting in television and film. He was kind, intelligent, funny, and brought joy and laughter to many.

Following his death in 2017, The Alex Evans Fund was set up and has so far facilitated free training in theatre and performance skills; and enabled access to mental health counselling for young adults.
