Actors Lab is a regular creative workshop for actors in the area.
The Lab provides affordable ongoing training in performance skills, through exploratory sessions over a number of months.
The sessions, lead by Tim Evans, aim to provide the space and time to explore various ideas and approaches that shorter course structures are unable to offer.
A number of sessions may focus on standalone exercises and weekly experimentation. As the sessions progress however, a set script or source material may be chosen as a focus of the group’s work. This work may lead to the development of a Powerhouse production or an audience invited work-in-progress.
Although regular attendance is important, membership of the Lab does not require attendance at every session. If you wish to join the Actors Lab, please email tim@powerhouselive.org.uk to discuss membership.
